Dawn Cromer serves as the business operations specialist for the Enrollment Management and Marketing Division at 体育菠菜大平台. In her role, Cromer supports the division’s business operations by managing and analyzing cost centers, budgeting and financial projections across all revenue and expense sources for Communications and Marketing, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. She assists directors with financial oversight, executes contracts and handles daily business functions such as sourcing, accounts payable, receivable and billing.
A native of Lexington, Nebraska, Cromer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis from Chadron State College in 1995. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration degree.
Cromer previously worked in business operations at Pinnacle Bank, as accounting manager for Lundgren Farms, executive director for the Lexington Area United Way and accounting manager for the Kearney Area United Way organization.
She has also pursued her entrepreneurial passions as co-owner of S.A.M. Que and Catering in Kearney and operating owner of Lundgren Catering & District 22 Event Center in Lexington. Cromer’s career also includes positions as catering manager at Hy-Vee and executive assistant at Buffalo County Community Partners.
On campus, Cromer has demonstrated leadership and involvement through programs such as ASSIST, Leadership 体育菠菜大平台 and as a Loper-to-Loper Mentor. She serves as treasurer on the Leadership 体育菠菜大平台 Board of Graduates and was recently selected as a campus liaison for Project 921.
Her community engagement includes roles as a Boy and Girl Scouts leader and recruitment chair, PTO president and active participation in fundraising efforts for Relay for Life and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, where she has also served as a national team mentor. Additionally, she is a member of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce.
Cromer holds certifications in Microsoft Excel and Strategy Execution for Public Leadership from Harvard Business School.
